Due to the renewal of the firefighting water system, travelers should expect nighttime restrictions in the Seelisberg Tunnel. From Monday (19/01/2026) to Friday (06/02/2026), nighttime closures of the north tube (direction Lucerne) are required for this work and will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.. During the nighttime closures, road traffic will be routed single-lane through the south tube in oncoming traffic. During the day and on weekends, there will be no closures of the north tube.
